Carneval

So. There is a holiday here. It is called Carneval. And it involves CONSTANT DANGER WHILE WALKING IN THE STREET!

Danger from what? You might ask. This constant danger comes from the fact that during Carneval, it is perfectly acceptable to "mojarse" which means "Get Wet". So walking down the street, a citizen (or resident-on-a-visa) can be bombarded by water balloons, sprayed by water pistols, chased by children carrying cans of foam, or (worst of all) drenched by passing truckloads of people with huge buckets of water.

They also go and splash in other watery places, like the cascada (waterfall) here.

I'd just like to say, IT IS NOT WARM ENOUGH TO BE WET ALL THE TIME! I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THIS HOLIDAY AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
